you asked me to lift my hair and i wasn’t sure why as you stood behind me, i felt your hands touch my neck and you clipped the necklace that i had taken off earlier because you didn’t want me to forget it, i always for get my things at your house.
and i didn’t know how to react, i turned away and put away my books, i didn’t want want you to know that i could have cried. it was something so simple i know but in the most refrehing way i felt my heart break, break because it was no longer about just me and i finally saw the bigger picture,
that we talk late into the night about our future home and make lists of the places we travel but i think it was today that i realized that this is the beginning of me no longer being alone and no longer having to feel this weight on my chest. that i am in love with someone who is full of good.
our love is not perfect, i know that. but its something that gets me excited.
